Licencing system

NSDA runs a licencing system to secure that all employees in the industry have the necessary knowledge and competence to perform their duties according to the legal framwork and the industry ethical code of conduct. The licencing of individual employees in front-end operations is mandatory for member firms

The main elements of the plan are:

• Basic 8-module course combined with practice-questions with an exam where the candidates must show basic knowledge of rules and regulations for our industry.
• An additional course for employees in investment banking departments.
• Supplementary courses adressing new regulations and topics to be updated. Approximatley four courses annually
